Metavante Lending Solutions' Utility Financing Program is a unique solution that marries technology, business services and multiple lending types on a single point-of-sale (POS) platform, one that is currently solving the financing needs for our utility partners.

This financing solution is assisting leading North American utilities with the financing of conversions to gas – many of which would not occur were it not for their partnerships with Metavante. At the same time, the solution is bringing new customers and fee income to those lenders that are participating in these vendor financing programs.  UtilityWorx can be used by a Certified Dealer Network to provide alternative financing to consumers and businesses.

Specifically, Metavante's solution provides the following key benefits:

• Combines multiple lenders on our browser-based POS platform to serve all residential and business funding needs thus ensuring that a higher percentage of customers will receive funding;
• The ability to wrap extended warranties, service contracts and rewards programs into the platform, increasing options during the selling process;
• Captures and automates all document preparation into the platform, to provide ease for users and an overall improved customer experience;
• Provides call center support for instant on-the-spot credit approvals (especially beneficial in emergency situations) and answers to questions related to financing;
• Provides the ability to extend the brand image and services provided by the utilities to their customers with no increase in head count or receivables to the utilities since the entire program is outsourced through Metavante.
