Customization Toolkit
Workshop allows Loan Origination Studio customers
to customize or expand virtually any part of Loan Origination
Studio's core application modules (Agent,
Processor
or Closer).
With Workshop, customers can modify and add screens,
workflow, interfaces and reports to meet current or future
needs- anything from unique call center scripting screens to
additional cross marketing data elements.
Workshop uses industry standard tools such as HTML
editing and Visual Basic Scripting enabling lenders
to quickly develop and implement new changes.

Joint Development Environment
Workshop is part of the Joint Development Environment,
which allows lenders and Metavante to jointly manage software
changes for all users of Agent, Processor and Closer
applications, whether in stand-alone, thick-client or
thin-client configurations. Lenders can run Workshop
on a local PC and upload custom changes to a centralized
web-based file server. Modifications start in model
environment, move through the QA process
and finally to production environments when
ready for automatic distribution to end-users.
Part of the complete LOS Solution
Workshop is an add-on tool for Loan Origination
Studio (LOS). The core application modules are:Agent
(point-of-sale), Processor
(processing & underwriting) and Closer
(closing). Other add-on modules include LoanPortal
(services), DataSynch and
FileSynch Servers (data and loan file
synchronization).
